About Caatalyst

Charlie Watson FCCA founded Caatalyst in 2000 after seeing the opportunity for large organisations to make significant recoveries from their historic financial transactions.

He has built a team dedicated to fostering long-term Client relationships as well as maximising financial recoveries on behalf of the company's Clients.

Charlie has worked at senior level for high-profile companies in the retail and media sectors including Virgin Group and TMP Worldwide. He began his career in traditional audit with BDO Stoy Hayward.

All Caatalyst staff are carefully chosen for their good interpersonal skill as well as the required professional and technical abilities. Our team members have a wide range of experience from senior financial accounting positions to extensive experience of both accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.

Our philosophy is to make the audit process as painless as possible for the Client whilst achieving the highest possible recoveries. To this end the large majority of our work is carried out at our London Bridge offices. This means that rather than leaving 1 or 2 auditors onsite for months on end wasting Client time and resources, our audits receive the full focus of the Caatalyst audit and support team from our own offices whilst minimising disruption to you.

Our bespoke software system DATAmine™ has been developed over the last 4 years to target items for recovery. We are constantly developing new ways to save our Clients money and that's one of the reasons we are able to develop long-term relationships with them.
